Hatha Yoga
Tuesday 7.00pm – 8.00pm
Marwood Room
Georgina Moss Yoga / Georgina Moss
Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on the physical postures, breathing techniques and meditation. In Hatha yoga, one will aim to hold the posture for about 30 seconds or for ten rounds of breath. This is different to Vinyasa yoga where you tend to flow quickly from one posture to the next. By practicing Hatha yoga, you can improve flexibility, build strength, and find balance in both body and mind. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, Hatha yoga offers something for everyone.

Circle Singing
Thursday 7.15pm – 8.45pm (2nd Thursday of each month)
Marwood Room
Patrick Carpenter
Circle Singing is an inspiring, animated, challenging, ancient and contemporary approach to singing with others. When we sing together without a song, composer or conductor, these roles become shared in the moment with. spontaneously created music and emergent shared leadership. It involves deep listening to self, others and the space between us and an adjustment to improvisation: new for many, sometimes daunting but hugely nourishing.
This beginner-intermediate introduction is for people with little or no experience of improvisation. You need to be able to sing in tune and keep a beat and in return, you will cultivate the natural strength of your voice, reducing self-judgement and sharing your unique sound
