Fundraiser for Ukraine
Monday 21st March 2022
Over 75 of our members and friends came to our fundraising lunch in aid of Ukraine. We were delighted that so many came to support this cause.
Delicious home made soup and puddings were on offer for all and the Hall was abuzz with chatter. Our Staff, Trustees and Volunteers worked extremely hard to make this a very special event. There were also some generous donations for our Raffle from local businesses Canopy, Kew Book Shop, Mia Wood, Squires, and Zita Elze.
In all we raised a hefty £1,100. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a lovely event and to everyone who came along for their generosity.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we had to cancel the events we had planned but you can find a list of what we had planned here. We’re hoping some of them will take place in 2022.

Coffee Morning in aid of Kew Neighbourhood Association
We were delighted to hold another coffee morning with all proceeds going to KNA, following on from the success of our Macmillan coffee morning. Many of our members could not get to the Avenue Club without the help of the KNA volunteers so we are very grateful to them. Once again, the knit and stitch ladies had been busy knitting and making children’s clothes and toys, not to forget Hazels delicious jams and chutneys, which were snapped up for Christmas presents. Everyone went home happy!
