This class is a Hatha yoga class – a floor-based practice suitable for all ages and abilities and is based on breathing exercises, meditation, relaxation, mindfulness and postures to aid the body with these techniques.
This helps to balance the body physically and mentally in a varied and enjoyable manner.
Barbara believes in working to your capacity and giving your best. Our classes are open to anyone, but you must be able to get up and down from the floor.
Loose clothing should be worn, with no tight belts or jewellery, and members must bring their own mat.
About the instructor
Barbara has been practising and teaching all aspects of Yoga for 40 years and holds a teaching diploma from the British School of Yoga.
