Tai Chi
Anna Zhao
Event Hours(1)
Tai Chi Quan is an ancient Chinese form of exercise; although originally a martial art, tai chi quan (chuan) is mainly performed today as a form of exercise with many health benefits. It also has links with concepts of Chinese medicine.
The exercise uses breathing, visualisation and movements to work the entire body all at once. Use of gentle movements could be described as meditation in motion connecting the mind and body. By applying this concept of tai chi quan it generates good health, longevity and internal strength and power.
Anna teaches 2 sets of Yang style Tai Chi Quan: 8 movements for beginners; 24 movements for intermediate students.
